Boot from Windows XP Professional CD with SP1
Press [R] to Repair
[ENTER]
Leave tour keyboard untouch to automatically choose [US] as language default, or press any key at your keyboard and choose language [US], press [ENTER]
Choose [1] for C:\WINDOWS, press [ENTER]
Type LOCAL ADMIN
password: xxxxxxxxxx, press [ENTER]
From Command Prompt, type:
C:\WINDOWS> CHKDSK C: /p /r
After Recovery of C: drive completed, do once again for D: drive,
C:\WINDOWS> CHKDSK D: /p /r
After all “Recovery Success” message appear, type:
C:\WINDOWS> EXIT
The PC will REBOOT automatically
