Install Recovery Console in PC

For Future Preventive Maintenance, please install “Recovery Console” in PC.
So if you found the PC with “NTLDR missing” problem you DON’T have to use Windows XP Professional CD with SP1 for Booting.
Logon as PCAdm
From [Start] – [Run], type “cmd” and press [ENTER]
Type: \i386\winnt32.exe /cmdcons



Click [Yes] to install the “Recovery Console”
Skip the update process from Internet, click [NEXT]

Click [OK] when complete




From Desktop, right click [My Computer] icon, choose [Properties]
In [Advanced] Tab,
Click [Startup and Recovery Settings] button, change display OS and display recovery time into 1 seconds


Click [OK]
Reboot PC, and see is there a “Recovery Console” option before WinXP logon screen appear.
